Peeling, scrub and face masks - by Sissylove85

Hi everybody!
In this article I'd like to talk in more detail the treatments that we can do to our face.

The first thing I will say that I am opposed to buying these products, although until now I'd used several, however, that I'll review you soon. With time and doing some research I realized that all we need to purify, cleanse, remove make-up and refresh our skin is in the kitchen!

The benefits of using do-it-yourself treatments are:
- Super savings, what you need to already have it in home!
- Don't have to worry about deadlines preparations because we make them ready to use them.
- We can customize treatments according to our skin and needs.
- Last but not least, there is much more satisfaction in creating their own treatments!

Let's talk about peeling: it's a gentle exfoliation of the skin, which eliminates dead cells of the face that are cause of the gray complexion. It's important to be very gentle when you do these types of treatments, no need abrading the skin, the product will do almost everything. The consistency of the peeling can be more or less creamy, and what distinguishes it from a normal detergent is the presence of micro grains that go to smooth the skin. The peeling can be done up to three times a week, being always attentive to our skin type (see article on the skin of the face Face skin).
Dry skin: a maximum of two times a week.
Normal skin: twice a week.
Combination skin and oily skin: two, maximum three times a week.
Obviously peeling don't have to coincide with the day of deep cleansing facial! ^_^
Here are some recipes easy to make peeling easier for everyone!
  • Baking soda and rice bran oil peeling: mixed in equal parts, applied immediately with gentle circular movements and then rinse with warm water. It's fine for normal and combination skin. Those who have oily skin can replace the rice oil with hazelnut oil or distilled water, but those who have dry skin can try using honey as a replacement, and immediately dry your face because I remind you that the water steals our hydration!
  • Corn flour and yogurt peeling: mixed in equal parts and applied with the same process as the previous peeling. This peeling is good for all skin types.
You can create peeling you want, the important thing is that there's at least one ingredient or creamy liquid that allows to apply it on your face and a grainy ingredient, but it should be a light and delicate texture (coconut flour, baking soda, cocoa, no sugar!).

Let's continue with the scrub: the basic idea is the same as peeling, with the difference that in scrubs we use bigger and harder grits, so it's not recommended for those who have dry skin, and for those who have normal, mixed or oily skin scrubs is okay at most twice a week. Here are a couple of recipe ^_^

  • Brown sugar and yogurt scrub: This time we need more sugar, say 1 and a half to 1, like a tablespoon and a half of brown sugar and a tablespoon of yogurt. Mix as usual and use it as exfoliation. With the scrub more than ever you need to go delicate, otherwise you will unnecessarily irritate your skin.
  • Salt and lemon juice scrub: This is a strongly antiseptic scrub, so be careful not to use it on open wounds or already irritated skin.

Again, you can do a thousand experiments, making sure to choose an ingredient with grainy grainy, just like brown sugar or salt, if desired also the breadcrumbs!

Let's speak then of the masks: the basic idea is to spread your beautiful mask on your face, avoiding the eye, the skin there is extremely fine and delicate, the less we touch the better, and the lip contour for the same reason. Let it act no more than 20 minutes, then rinse with warm water and dry immediately the face. There are really all kinds, here are some super simple examples:

  • Calming honey and lemon mask: those who have dry skin or irritated may try it. The doses are a tablespoon of honey and a few drops of lemon.
  • Purifying cucumber mask: for normal to oily. After peeling, simply blend a cucumber and apply it on your face.
  • Astringent grapes and honey mask: it is good for oily skin. Take a dozen grapes smoothies and add a teaspoon of honey.
  • Illuminating cocoa, honey and yogurt mask: for all skin types. Mix equal parts of the ingredients and applied.
  • Moisturizing mask with vitamins: Take a piece of fruit, or even two fruits, in short make a nice cocktail smoothie and apply it on your face!
As you have seen, to treat well our skin we don't need to be a millionaire, just take a ride in the kitchen! So tested, find new ingredients, try everything you find in the kitchen, no ingredient not included ^_^
I hope you enjoyed this article, greetings to all and see you soon!
