Nails, care and treatments - By Sissylove85

Hi everybody!
In this post I'd like to talk about nails.

First step is to understand what are the nails: they have to be considered as a much tougher skin, and as such should be hydrated and treated. They are composed mainly of keratin, a substance that is also present in the hair.
The basic difference between the skin and nails is that the skin is "alive", the nails don't. Think about it, if you cut your nails it doesn't hurt, as happens with hair. Going for a treatment to the nails, the result is visible only when it starts to grow the "new" part of the nail, it's not easy to see how long does it take a treatment to take effect. This is the reason for which cures and treatments on the nails are very long.
The nail growth varies from person to person. You can do a test to have at least an idea of the growth of your nails: make a small mark on the base of the nail using nail polish or marker near the cuticle, and mark the day when you started, after about ten days measured the party grew, multiplied by three. The result is an estimate of your monthly growth.
In order to have healthy nails, and therefore beautiful, the same rules that I explained to the skin
(face skin) eat healthy, drink lots of water and sports to oxygenate the tissues.
In the market there are also tons of supplements for the growth of nails and hair, formulated to provide vitamins and minerals specific to the case. My point of view about these supplements is that they cost so much for what you can get simply by having a healthy diet, I don't think it's a good idea to buy it, but I want to clarify that this applies only to the nails, the hair are a different argument.
Nail care starts from within and then go outside, so the rules are as follows:

- Make manicure once a week:
   1) Eliminate any remaining nail lacquer.
   2) Wash hands and nails with water
and soap (the best one is intimate soap because it's more

delicatehelping you with an essential tool, that is the brush for nails.
   3) Let your hands to soak for 10 minutes in a solution of warm water and baking soda.
   4) Dry your hands and put on each nail a good deal of rich cream, which in addition to hydrate the
nails, used to soften the cuticles.
   5) Gently push the cuticles towards the base with a stick.
   6) Finish with a light massage to absorb the cream.

- Nails should "breathe", so if you use nail lacquer continually, do this: every 7/10 days raised the nail lacquer and don't put it back for at least two or three days. Take advantage of these days to make treatment with honey and oil, a tablespoon of honey and one oil well mixed and applied on the hands and nails, keep the compress for at least half an hour, than rinse with warm water.

- Before you go to sleep put a rich moisturizer, making a little relaxation massage. Not to forget this rite try to leave the cream near the bed lamp.

- A scrub to your nails once a week helps to oxigen them better and eliminate the cuticles too. Obviously scrubs will be made with sugar or salt and vegetable oil.

- Always use a base, preferably hardener, before putting the nail lacquer. This will avoid the yellowing of nails, this is because the nail is porous and absorbs the colored nail lacquer and makes it turn yellow.

- When you filed your nails use a paper file or glass, not iron! The file is complicit in the disintegration of iron nails, while those in paper or glass are more delicate and filed without ruining the rest of the nail.

So these are the pillars in order to have healthy and beautiful nails, try it and you will not go back! I hope to have been of help. If you have any questions I'm here.

Bye to all and see you soon!
